Most cities have a yahoo group, and you just post what you have, and people magically come and pick it up. It's also a wonderful way to pick up things that you don't have- we got a gorgeous upright freezer through the list last year, and I've certainly gotten rid of boxes of stuff over the years. Right now I have about 5 piles of different things sitting in my living room waiting to post this week- everything from books and kitchen odds and ends to clothes, shoes, yard stuff and fabric. It's all free, and it keeps things out of the landfills. Have fun with the move- we're moving on the 1st too! Yuck. Jeanette Try freecycle.org .
